Virtual Katy improves ‘South Park’ workflow
By TVTechnology
published “South Park” Supervising Sound Editor Bruce Howell uses the Virtual Katy software to accelerate the sound post process for the animated show.
The animated series has a demanding post-production schedule. Each show topic is developed, animated, cut and aired within a week. According to Howell, Virtual Katy reduced a 20-hour-per-week-per-show job of conforming sessions to a 20-minute-per-week-per-show job, freeing up additional time for sound design, music and mixing.
