ABC cameraman released from medical center

published A posting on the ABCNews.com Web site from ABC News president David Westin Feb. 23 reports that cameraman Doug Vogt, who was injured Jan. 29 in an attack near Taji, Iraq, with ABC News anchor Bob Woodruff, has checked out of Bethesda Medical Center where he was receiving treatment to return to his home in France.
According to the report, Woodruff “continues to make good progress” and may be able to move to a medical facility in the New York area within the next few weeks to receive care closer to home.
