AP TV News scoops the competition

published AP Television News, the international video division of The Associated Press, provided almost 700 more exclusive news stories to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) in 2005 than its competitors, according to the news agency.
The EBU's definition of an "exclusive" is a story that scoops the competition either on content or speed. AP Television News was 678 exclusives in front in 2005.
In 2004, the margin was 595; in 2003 it was a record 750; in 2002, 634; in 2001, 716; and in 1999 the margin was 323, the news agency said.
