During last season’s NFL and college football season, Ascent Media used the DNF Controls 3040P-L for playout.
Ascent Media used the DNF Controls 3040P-L Playlist Playout Controller during playout of the NFL Sunday Ticket and ESPN GamePlan last season.
The two sports subscription television packages also supplied professional and college football fans with hundreds of games over the course of the season.
Ascent used 15 3040P-Ls to package live feeds from each game with commercials and feature shows specific to the teams playing in that game. It also used DNF's Playlist Transfer Tool to create playlists on a computer, and then transfer them into the 3040P-L controllers for playout.
DNF's 3040P-L Playlist Playout Controller consists of the company’s ST400 controller with a large LCD display and Playlist Playout software.
