TMD’s Media Asset Management and Workflow system is helping the five network reach 41 million people with its new program services.
TMD has announced a contract to supply and implement its Mediaflex Media Asset Management and Workflow system for Ascent Media Network Services Europe (AMNSE).
Mediaflex will be used by AMNSE to handle all the media for five (www.five.tv), which broadcasts a wide schedule of news, current affairs, arts, children’s and science programs, as well as sports coverage, movies and acquired programming.
Work has begun on the project and the Mediaflex solution for AMNSE and five is scheduled to go live on July 1. It will also interface to five’s existing Pro-Bel automation system as well as to their internal corporate scheduling system.
