Avocent has unveiled its Emerge line of media management products.
The line consists of the WMS1000 wireless media streamer, the MS1000P Cat5 point-to-point video extender and the MS1000MP Cat5 point-to-multipoint video extender. The LongView Wireless extension products, and the AMX A/V switching and broadcasting products also are included in the A/V product suite.
The WMS1000 broadcasts high quality, full motion streaming video from virtually any source to multiple display devices up to 1000ft without wires. It can be deployed in either a point-to-point (extension) or point-to-multipoint (broadcast) configuration. It supports multiple input/output formats including component, S-video, composite video, VGA computer video, RS-232 control and stereo audio.
