CEA to serve as TAG Administrator
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has accredited the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) Working Group on Exhibition Terminology. The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) will serve as the TAG Administrator.
ANSI accreditation allows TAG to be the official working group to generate the U.S. position on questions arising before the international working group. Membership in the U.S. TAG is open to all interested parties and organizations within the United States who indicate that they are directly and materially affected by the group’s activities.
The U.S. TAG also announced that David Korse, president and CEO of IDG World Expo, is now the group’s new chair. Bob Kelley, director of Business Development, Meeting Consultants, will serve as a representative of the U.S. TAG at the first meeting of the ISO Working Group on Exhibition Terminology in Singapore July 25-27.
