Chyron’s Duet HyperX combined with Lyric graphics software will enable ABC’s Monday Night Football graphics team to move beyond static player headshots and statistical information and animate all player messages including headshots.
The system is capable of dual-channel animations, and can playback animations including 3-D objects with multiple texture maps. Graphics generated by the Duet HyperX for ABC’s Monday Night Football are upconverted to on-the-fly HD as the game airs.
The Duet HyperX can also be upgraded to utilize two software-switchable HD/SD channels which can integrate two compressed HD/ SD clip players. The system supports switching between HD and SD formats.
