Crawford acquires Gulflink, doubles size of transportable uplink fleet
Crawford Communications has acquired Gulflink Communications, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gray Communications.
The acquisition enhances the operations of Crawford’s Satellite Services division, creating one of the largest transportable fleets in the nation, according to the company. Crawford will now operate 17 Ku-band and eight C-band units, expanding its coverage area significantly.
They will continue to operate Gulflink’s technical support facility located in Baton Rouge, LA. Transportable scheduling, operations and maintenance will occur in both Atlanta and Baton Rouge.
