Digital View has released its DV VideoFlyer, a 7in LCD display with an integrated solid-state digital media player. Enclosed in an open chassis to facilitate assembly, the self-contained unit provides a 16:9 display format and currently supports MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and JPEG, with support for MPEG-4 in the works.
The unit, which can play MP3 audio and show a JPEG simultaneously, also features playback control, allowing media to play in simple alphanumeric mode or in accordance with a playlist file. A barcode interface is available as an option.
