Entone Technologies, a provider of video content delivery systems, showcased VOD technology at IBC2004 that it has developed with TANDBERG Television and N2 Broadband.
The platform addresses issues facing early adopters of VOD systems, specifically the high costs and risks associated with highly proprietary architectures and vendor lock-in.
TANDBERG showed the platform in operation, including live demos of Entone’s Encoding Studio content ingest solution and StreamLiner, video server with OpenStream Digital Services Platform from N2 Broadband and video headend, and the EQ6800 QAM Modulation system from TANDBERG.
