Extensis releases Porfolio 8 for Macintosh
Extensis, a division of Celartem, has released a free update to Portfolio 8, its digital asset management application for multimedia.
The update is the company's first Universal Application, adding native support for the latest Intel-based Macs. It supports Portfolio single-user, Portfolio Client, Portfolio Server, Portfolio NetPublish, Portfolio NetPublish for Server, Portfolio SQL-Connect and Portfolio Browser.
Portfolio 8 is designed to streamline workflows through efficient organization, viewing, routing, archiving and distribution of media assets. Though it can handle a wide range of media file types, the application is especially popular with graphic designers and photographers.
Portfolio 8.1 is immediately available via download from the Extensis Web site and is free of charge for registered Portfolio 8 users.
