Front Porch Digital announced it is expanding Swiss broadcaster Teleclub’s digital video archive with transcoding capabilities to deliver VOD services to Swisscom, Switzerland’s leading telecoms company. Through its partnership with Telestream, Front Porch will deliver integrated FlipFactory transcoding into Teleclub’s DIVArchive workflow.
Zürich-based Teleclub AG, a provider of pay television channels in Switzerland, uses DIVArchive to manage the digital archive for its pay-TV services. The integration of FlipFactory and DIVArchive will allow the automatic generation of VOD copies of every piece of content going into the archive. This will give Swisscom’s subscribers access to Teleclub movies via VOD services, Front Porch said.
