Gepco certifies environmental-friendly products

Gepco International has issued a Certificate of Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliance covering more than 160 of its cable products.

The certificate confirms that Gepco’s products comply with the European Union’s RoHS Directive and the California Electronic Waste Recycling Act.

The RoHS directive was originally established to address concerns regarding the accumulation of hazardous wastes resulting from consumer products.

The company has certified that its products are manufactured free of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalant Chromium, polybrominated Biphenyls and polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers. This compliance applies to products manufactured on or after June 15, 2005.
