Hearst-Argyle, Verizon sign retransmission consent agreement

Hearst-Argyle Television has entered into a long-term agreement with Verizon providing retransmission consent for carriage over the company’s digital fiber-optic FiOS TV service of four of the broadcaster's television stations.
The agreement, which covers WCVB-TV in Boston; WMUR-TV in Manchester, NH; WBAL-TV in Baltimore; and WMOR-TV in Tampa, includes video-on-demand (VoD) and high-definition rights to the stations' local programs and carriage of digital multicast programming.
