Louisiana Superdome adds 10 new display boards
The Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans is getting a new integrated scoring and display system. The value of the project approaches $6 million with installation scheduled to be complete in time for the start of the 2006 National Football League regular season.
The New Orleans Saints will play all eight regular season home games in the Superdome. Tulane University will also play all of its 2006 home football games inside the Superdome.
The system includes two Daktronics ProStar video boards, two ProAd fascia displays and four additional full-color LED displays.
Center-to-center pixel spacing for all displays is 23mm (.90in). The integrated system will be controlled with Daktronics Venus 7000 controllers, V-Link video processors and All Sport scoring controller.
