Mobile TV Group outfits latest vehicle with Leitch X75 multi-path converter
Eighteen new Leitch Technology X75 HD up-, down-, and crossconverter and frame synchronizers will be used in Mobile TV Group's new 10HDX truck.
Denver-based Mobile TV Group has purchased 18 Leitch Technology X75 HD up-, down-, and crossconverters and frame synchronizers for its newest HD teleproduction truck.
The Mobile TV Group operates 10 mobile units throughout the United States, six of which are 53ft HD expandos. The X75HDs will be installed in the Mobile TV Group's new 10HDX truck, which is scheduled for launch in May and will cover a variety of live events throughout Southern California. Colorado Studios, a builder and systems integrator of advanced HD facilities, designed and constructed the truck.
The X75HD combines up-, down-, and crossconversion, HD frame sync and extensive video and audio processing capabilities in a 1RU package. It can convert from up to seven input video formats, including HDTV optical fiber, HD-SDI, SDI, DV, composite video, Betacam and S-VHS/Hi-8 to almost any output video format.
