Miranda Technologies has signed a multi-year deal to provide NBC Universal with HD terminal, channel branding, and multi-imaging solutions as part of the global media and entertainment company's project to standardize its new HD facility build-outs. The XVP-801i HD/SD universal video processor cross converter was a key element in NBC Universal's decision to opt for Miranda solutions.
As part of the purchase, the media company chose HD Imagestore units for channel branding; Kaleido K2 multi-image display processors; and an array of HD interfacing modules that include the XVP 801i.
Miranda's solutions will also be integrated into the NBC Olympics facilities, and will be online for the 2006/2008 Olympics in Torino and Beijing.
