The 5821 has SD pass through with separate programmable HD/SD aspect ratio conversion (ARC) settings.
NEP Supershooters has taken delivery of 231 Cobalt Digital 5821 downconversion cards which the sports production company will use as specialized interface products to bridge numerous production formats.
The 5821 offers dual-rate HD/SD input, reclocked input copies, SD-SDI output and analog composite output in an industry standard card frame format. In addition, the 5821 has SD pass through with separate programmable HD/SD aspect ratio conversion (ARC) settings, reticule overlays and video processing.
The shipment is the second NEP Supershooters has received. The previous order included the company’s aspect ratio converter module.
