NSW Rugby puts JVC GY-HD101E HD camera to the test
By TVTechnology
published NSW Rugby in Australia recently acquired a JVC GY-HD101E HD camera for its news and sports programming productions requirements.
The NSW Waratahs recently completed a 20-day, four-match tour of Bahrain, Czech Republic, Romania and Russia during which the camera was used with the BR-HD50E recorder to shoot SD.
The camera also provided easy dubbing via Firewire, which was used to make copies of matches from a DVCAM machine. A total of 20 hours was shot during the tour. That footage is now being edited with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 for a DVD documentary.
