Oki’s latest digital source driver speeds data transfer
By TVTechnology
published Oki has developed the MT3100, a 13-bit digital source driver for HD LCD systems. The MT3100 is the first to adopt Oki's originally developed high-speed image transferring method, flat panel low voltage differential signaling (FP-LVDS), resulting in a data transfer speed of 500Mb/s.
The MT3100 is a 13-bit source driver with approximately 8200 gray-scale levels. It has 13-bit resolution of gray-scale for each output port, which enables it to individually control the characteristics of voltage-transmittance rate for RGB.
