The OxBox Mini Series 40463A decoder and audio embedder is a compact composite video to SDI converter.
It uses high-quality dual 11-bit digital-to-analog converters with a 5x over-sampling comb filter decoder. The small unit has a four-channel audio embedder that lets users of legacy analog equipment combine both audio and video together into a single digital video SDI stream.
The OxBox Mini Series 40463A unit removes the need for a separate decoder and audio embedder by combining their functions. The unit comes with a universal mounting bracket and can be used as a stand-lone or rack mounted with up to four units in a 1RU chassis or 10 in a 2RU chassis.
