As new material is ingested into the Omneon Spectrum media server, those media assets become immediately available to Prime journalists across the network.
The media server system will provide Prime with a reliable and scalable infrastructure for professional broadcast playout and storage applications. The system’s open architecture allows it to support a broad variety of third-party applications for control and transmission, media management, storage and collaborative production.
