Italian broadcast services company SBP has added Zandar Technologies FusionPro+ and Predator series MultiViewers to a new fully HD-capable mobile outside broadcast unit.
Based in Rome, the new OB vehicle is designed to cope with the demands of some of Europe's largest concert and sporting events. It is due to be fully functional next month.
Five FusionPro+ Series multiviewers were installed with enhanced display processing engines capable of handling resolutions up to 1080p. The FusionPro+ systems are driving a mix of Clarity Visual Systems high-resolution 46in and 40in LCD displays. Each FusionPro+ is fitted with the ZdH Dual Head option and can drive two displays simultaneously. The six Predator HD8 systems are configured to drive Sony 17in monitors.
The 46ft truck will be on display at IBC2006 at Amsterdam’s RAI Convention Center in September. Italian distributor Elemaint sold SBP the Zandar Technologies equipment.
