ESPNU signs five-year deal with SIAC
ESPNU has reached a five-year agreement through 2010 with the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), a Division II HBCU (Historically Black College/University) league, for coverage of football and men’s and women’s basketball.
NBA, Nokia to make league action available on Chinese cell phones
The NBA and Nokia have reached a multi-year agreement to expand their relationship into Greater China, marking the first time video content of a North American-based sports league will be made available on mobile phones in the region.
As the Official Mobile Phone of the NBA in Greater China, Nokia will enable their mobile users to access embedded NBA video highlights of the 2004-05 NBA season and 2005 All-Star Game.
ESPN promotes Achar to vice president, creative services
Jon Achar has been promoted to vice president, creative services, ESPN Marketing.
