TVE News Operation Center selects EVS servers, software
The EVS XT[2] servers will be used with EVS AirBox software to control server ingest and playout.
Spanish national public television TVE has selected EVS hardware and software solutions to digitize the production process in its news operation center based in Madrid.
TVE ordered three six-channel XT[2] servers with EVS AirBox software to control server ingest and playout. The EVS server loop recording process combined with the AirBox scheduling ingest and playout offers flexibility and safety during newsgathering and production. The images are immediately available for playback after ingest while the recording process continues. In addition, the AirBox allows the running order to be created and modified quickly and easily.
The three XT[2] servers are connected though the EVS' high-speed XNet network (1.5Gb/s) which allows media to be shared in real time without the need to transfer files.
