Harris also has established a new Government Solutions Unit within its Broadcast Communications Division.

It stated it did so "to address the rapidly growing requirement for broadcast and rich media management solutions within the public safety, Department of Defense, federal agency, and state and municipal government markets."

The Government Solutions Unit will be based in Mason, Ohio, and headed by John Delay, director, strategic management, and Lucius Stone, director of sales.
