ADC Telecommunications to unveil new notched BNC series
The new, notched BNC is especially helpful where high-density coax panels, such as ADC’s midsize video product, are used.
ADC’s new notched BNC series simplifies visual determination of BNC connectors that are not properly latched to BNC jacks.
The new, notched BNC is especially helpful where high-density coax panels, such as ADC’s midsize video product, are used. In these applications, terminations are very dense and found in the rear of racks where it is often difficult to see.
The notched BNC offers the same features as ADC’s standard BNC line including true 75 Ohm and return loss performance up to 3 GHz for high-speed video applications, such as HDTV and L-band satellite signals.
The notched BNC is available for HD RG59, HD RG6 and HD RG179 style cables. When used with ADC jackfields, the notches will be visible in the 12 and 6 o’clock positions.
