Adelstein Keynotes 2007 CBA Awards Banquet

The Community Broadcasters Association has tapped Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein to keynote its 2007 CBA Awards Banquet honoring Dr. Byron St. Clair. The event will be held on Oct. 29 during the association’s annual convention located at the Tuscany Suites & Casino in Las Vegas this year. The theme is “DTV – It’s Our Turn!”

Other confirmed speakers for the CBA fall show include:

  • Gary Sgrignoli, DTV Transmission consultant, Meintel, Sgrignoli, & Wallace
  • Larry A. Dyer, Federal Programs Officer, NTIA - OTIA - Broadcast Division, U.S. Department of Commerce
  • Dan Rumelt, FCC’s Consumer Affairs Office, Consumer education for the DTV transition
  • Hossein Hashemzadeh, FCC Low Power Branch
  • CBA Lobbyist, Former Pennsylvania Congressman Ron Klink
