AdtekMedia, Westinghouse Digital to Develop 'GasPump TV'
Westinghouse Digital Electronics recently announced an exclusive arrangement with AdtekMedia Inc. to provide build and provide display systems for gasoline station fuel pumps serviced by AdtekMedia's network for delivering news and advertising.
Systems with dual 19-inch LDC displays will be installed on thousands of gasoline pumps in 60 selected large U.S. markets. AdtekMedia says that it will reach nearly 170,000 locations.

"Working with AdtekMedia allows us to build one of the world's largest outdoor digital media networks and to deliver a valued information and entertainment experience to a captive audience of adults. Westinghouse Digital is very bullish on out-of-home digital media. Over the next few years we plan to place as much LCD technology out of the home as in the home."
Content offered by the point-of-point delivery system will consist of a five-minute program of news, sports, weather and traffic information, and entertainment interspersed with advertising.
