AFI ETV Workshop Calls For Entries
The American Film Institute has announced its 2003 AFI Enhanced TV Workshop and production season with a call for entries to networks and TV producers to participate in its program by developing "innovative 'enhanced TV' applications" to run on set-top boxes, game consoles, broadband networks, connected DVD's and wireless networks.
In its sixth year, the AFI eTV Workshop brings together TV producers with design and technology innovators to develop working interactive TV programs. To qualify, participants must be working TV professionals with programs on air or slated for distribution in the 2003/2004 season. Selected producers will be paired with broadcast and eTV experts to re-create their show on one or more interactive platforms.
Requirements are available at www.AFI.com/etv.
