Air India Looks to Offer In-Flight Television

published A report in the Mumbai, India-based Daily News and Analysis notes that the Indian national airline, Air India, has issued a tender for satellite television and radio services aboard its new fleet of Boeing 777 long-haul aircraft.
The tender calls for a satellite system that integrates with the existing in-flight entertainment system to provide live radio and television services at each traveller's seat.
Air India is slated to take delivery of 23 Boeing 777-200LR and 777-300ER aircraft next year.
