Algolith to Unveil HD Processor-Scaler
Video image enhancement developer Algolith of Montreal will introduce its Acclaim HD Video Processor-Scaler next week at the annual confab of the International Communications Industries Association in Anaheim, Calif. The exhibition floor at InfoComm is open June 19-21.
The unit's features include a flexible projector placement, which allows positioning video projectors virtually anywhere in a room or open space. The feature was primarily designed for asymmetric venues such as houses of worship, town halls, restaurants, bars and other sites with structural obstacles, according to Algolith.
The processor-scaler upscales, downscales, de-interlaces and cadence corrects video signals from 480i to 1080p. The remote-controlled Acclaim is equipped with front-panel controls and a matrix LCD screen for settings menus.
