AMD awarded a Technical and Engineering Emmy for Graphics Excellence
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has awarded a Technical and Engineering Emmy Award to AMD for its ATI Radeon 9700 technology. The award for Pioneering Work in Near and Real-Time fully programmable Shading via Modern Graphics Processors was announced during an award ceremony at the 2007 CES in Las Vegas.
The Technology & Engineering Emmy Awards honor accomplishments in two areas: Science, Engineering & Technology for Broadcast Television, and Science, Engineering & Technology for Broadband and Personal Television. Prospective recipients and technologies are recommended and selected by a blue ribbon panel of industry experts and professionals.
