Two of the top five Blu-ray titles sold in the latest week for which data was announced are animated movies that were huge box office hits on the theater circuit several months ago. The top seller was “Wall-E” and ranking fifth was “Kung Fu Panda.” Only one of the top 10 titles (no. 8) was not a motion picture.
Average MSRP for the 1080p format’s bestselling titles is about $36. The Top 10 Blu-ray sales for the week ending Nov. 22, according to Rentrak:
