Apple Computer will reveal a new strategy for digital video production at NAB2003.
Apple's new professional computers and video editing software has rapidly grown in popularity with professionals in both television and motion picture production. Apple's Powerbooks and Final Cut software are in extensive use for television war coverage from Iraq.
Though Apple said it would unveil "a strategic direction for digital video production technologies" at NAB, many expect the company to upgrade its Final Cut Pro editing system and extend compatibility with products from several major video manufacturers. Other pro upgrades are due for Apple's DVD Studio Pro, Cinema Tools and Shake.
