Asia Television purchases two Inscriber branding systems
Inscriber’s Inca Station will allow Asia Television to brand and promote its new channel via Master Control, in a number of creative ways.
Asia Television (ATV), located in Hong Kong, has purchased two Inscriber Inca Station systems for the branding of a new 24-hour news channel.
Inca Station combines animated and still logos, multiple real-time data crawls and DVE capability to maximize viewer impact and retention. The system is designed for master control, satellite uplink and mobile broadcast centers needing to insert graphics, promotional clips, moving backgrounds, emergency programming, local news and advertising.
Chun Sing Wong, chief engineer, Technical Support Department for ATV, said the Inca Station’s user, data and control interfaces easily integrated into the broadcaster’s desired workflow. It allows ATV to promote its new news channel in a number of creative and visually interesting ways.
With a customer base that includes ABC, NBC, CBC, CNN, BBC and Rogers Sportsnet, Inscriber manufactures character generators (Inca Studio), a real-time 2-D/3-D broadcast graphics platform (Inca RTX) and networked graphics/automation systems (Inca AutoCG) for the broadcast industry.
