ATG Broadcast has announced a range of audio monitoring units for desktop or rack-based installation.
The new SAM-E series features eight stereo inputs, digital carrier auto-sensing and amplified stereo outputs. Three versions are available for applications in studio control rooms, edit suites, technical areas and mobile production vehicles.
Features on all three include button-per-channel selection of up to eight stereo analog, AES or SDI-embedded digital sources. LED status displays indicate digital audio sampling rate (32- 44.1- 48- or 96kHz), carrier presence and carrier-lock. Additional buttons enable phase reversal, audio monitor mute, dim, left/right monitor selection and left/right source cut.
