ATSC Plans Mobile DTV Seminar
The Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) will host an all-day seminar on mobile digital television on Feb. 3, 2010 in Washington, D.C.
The event will feature presentations examining the key elements of the mobile DTV system and the A/153 mobile standard. Topics will include the physical, transport/IP application/interactivity and presentation layers of the mobile standard, as well as applications and broadcast station implementation of the service.
Speakers scheduled to appear at the event include Mark Richer, ATSC; Sterling Davis, Cox Broadcasting; Jay Adrick, Harris; Mark Aitken, Sinclair Broadcasting; Wayne Bretl; Zenith; Rich Chernock, Triveni; Bret Jenkins, ION Media; Mike Bergman, Kenwood; and Anne Schelle, OMVC.
The seminar is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and will be held at the Hogan & Hartson Fulbright Conference Center in downtown Washington. Complete registration information is available at www.atsc.org.
