The Advanced Television Systems Committee and the Society of Broadcast Engineers will feature a half-day seminar focusing on digital electronic newsgathering at the 11th annual Hollywood Post Alliance Technology Retreat, Feb. 21-24, in Palm Springs, Calif.
Experts are expected to talk about the development of digital ENG technology and related standards. Presentations will cover topics including the technical aspects of the Data Return Link (DRL) system, digital ENG implementation, frequency coordination, spectrum issues and HDTV from the field.
