AVerMedia Introduces ATSC ExpressCard Tuner

published Laptop owners now have another option for on-the-road DTV reception. AVerMedia this week announced the AVerTV Hybrid ExpressCard high definition and analog ExpressCard TV tuner.
Many recent laptops support the ExpressCard interface, which offers better performance than the older PCMCIA interface. The AVerTV Hybrid allows NTSC, ATSC and FM broadcast reception on laptops. Few technical specifications were available on the company's Web site and the chip set manufacturer was not revealed.
AVerMedia said the price of the ExpressCard tuner, including a portable "mini-antenna" and a remote control is $129 and it is available now.
