TEWKSBURY, MASS.: Avid announced it would host an Investor Day meeting on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009 at the Ritz-Carlton in Boston. The event will offer the investor community an opportunity to meet members of Avid’s executive team and learn more about the company’s products and business strategy. Presentations are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EST and conclude by 3 p.m. Registration is available online.
Avid (NASDAQ) said it would release third-quarter results this Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Shares of the company are trading at around $15, up from around $12.50 in late July when the company reported second-quarter revenues of $150.5 million and a net loss of $15.9 million. Excluding special items, net loss came in at $5.5 million, or 15 cents a share.
