Avid unveils ‘New Thinking’ campaign

published Avid Technology’s Video division unveiled a client-focused campaign March 17 designed to improve how the company connects with clients and prospects.
Dubbed “New Thinking,” the campaign is the result of feedback from clients and revolves around four main objectives: increasing the value of Avid’s products, workflows and services; advancing technical and client support programs; investing in the community of media professionals; and fostering an open, two-way dialog with clients.
Avid also announced:
- The merging of Avid Xpress Pro software into the Media Composer product line, with new lower pricing and a pathway for existing Avid Xpress Pro users to upgrade to Media Compser;
- New student pricing for Media Composer software that lets any student at an accredited college or university with a valid student I.D. to purchase Media Composer software for $295;
- A new online community for industry professionals to access and share tips and tricks, demonstrations, tutorials and media content;
- Enhanced online client support.
