Axcera debuts digital IOT transmitter
The Visionary DT transmitter uses a DT2B-based exciter driving LDMOS IPAs for continuous linear and nonlinear adaptive pre-correction
Axcera's Visionary DT will be on display at this year's NAB2003 conference in Las Vegas, Nev.
The transmitter features an integrated Statmon-based GUI for remote monitoring and control. It uses a DT2B-based exciter driving LDMOS IPAs for continuous linear and nonlinear adaptive pre-correction.
The system offers broadband operation across the UHF band without requiring tuning. Power level is available from up to 180kW. It includes in air- or liquid-cooled configurations. Its precise frequency control allows the exciter to be locked to any precision 10MHz standard for a ±2Hz frequency stability.
Control and monitoring is provided through Axcera’s Advanced Control System (ACS). The ACS is designed to provide straightforward control and monitoring functionality for the complete transmitter system, both locally and remotely.
