Azcar to Build UNC-TV HDTV Suite

published Azcar has been tapped to design and integrate digital HDTV production control rooms and studio facilities for the University of North Carolina Center for Public Television (UNC-TV), the state's public DTV network.
The Ontario-based technology integration company was selected after creating a cost-effective and technically compliant proposal, according to UNC-TV. The project is expected to be complete by Q3, 2005.
AZCAR has also completed public broadcasting projects at AETN in Arkansas, PPTN and WPSX in Pennsylvania and AQPT in Illinois, according to Stephen Pumple, president and CEO, Azcar.
