>Chyron has appointed Bill Hendler vice president and chief products officer. He will be responsible for overseeing product management for the company’s hardware and software products. He has been with Chyron for almost 25 years and was most recently vice president of its Media Solutions Group.
>Leitch Technology has appointed Tim Thorsteinson president and CEO. Thorsteinson comes from Thomson Broadcast & Media Solutions, where he led the broadcast product line. Prior to his tenure at Thomson, he served as CEO and COO of the Grass Valley Group, until the company’s acquisition by Thomson.
>In an effort to strengthen its technical support capabilities in North America, OmniBus SystemsMark Wilson senior project engineer and Ramon Agbunag customer support engineer. Wilson will be responsible for coordinating new installations and providing technical support to existing customers. Agbunag will also be responsible for providing technical support.
>Ross Video has appointed David Ross president. He will immediately assume overall responsibility for the company. He was formerly executive vice president and director of product development. His father, John Ross, will stay on in the capacity of executive vice president, with responsibilities for manufacturing, finance, human resources and IT functions in addition to his role as chairman.
>Jean-Marc Hoffer has been appointed vice president, products, for Thomson Broadcast & Media Solutions. He will be replacing Tim Thorsteinson, who has left the company to assume the president and CEO role at Leitch Technology. Hoffer was formerly vice president of operations for the switcher, router, and modular lines at the company.

>Stan Leshner has joined NMT as an account executive. He will be responsible for managing many of the company’s key broadcast accounts, including CBS Sports. He comes to NMT from Southwest Mobile Television (SWTV), where he served as the company’s vice president of sales. Prior to that, he served as vice president at Starliner Mobile Video and vice president of operations & engineering for the Mizlou Sports News Network and Mizlou Communications.
