BBC 'Quick' Goes Wireless Windigi

published The BBC News Technology Programme "Click" has purchased a Portaprompt Wireless Windigi Prompting solution for their English and Farsi productions, after three weeks of field, location and studio testing in English and Farsi.
Specifically, Click has purchased a WinDigi Lite Plus with wireless hand control, wireless foot control and dual control wireless USB base station and backup hand control, and a licence free Wireless Link Video Transmitter and Receiver system, enabling cordless operation of MicroPrompt if battery powered.
