BBC Installs Studer Vista 8 Desk

published BBC-TV recently installed a 72-fader Studer Vista 8 audio production console with 516 inputs on its customized L-shaped worksurface at TC1, the BBC Resources' flagship TV studio in London.
The Vista 8 console, the second for the BBC, is fully equipped for 5.1 surround sound working and automation and will be used for the upcoming "Children in Need" telethon.
The Studer Vistonics has the flexibility of DSP processing and a large number of I/Os are suited to meeting the requirements of large TV production studios, as is the Vista 8's ability to allow its router to be controlled by external control system, according to Studer.
