Belgian broadcaster VTM, the biggest commercial TV station in Flanders, recently began using a new Barco video wall system as part of its redesigned news studio.
The new video wall provides VTM with a reliable display technology on which to present sharp, clear video and graphics for a variety of uses, including presentation of statistics, news graphics, background information and live video standups from the field.
The new VTM wall consists of 18 50in Barco OV-D2 series display cubes. Each uses a 180W lamp and incorporates the company’s Sense6 technology to ensure video wall uniformity over time as well as maximum readability. The Barco video wall is the second VTM has purchased from the company.
