Software Generation’s FlashNet data management software will be integrated with Blue Order’s Media Archive Enterprise Media Management platform for Corinthian Television's (CTV) digital upgrade project in the U.K.
The Corinthian Television project required asset management in order to keep track of various program elements within individual productions.
FlashNet is data management software that provides the link between video stored as files on a video server and the tape library that serves as the long term repository. It allows the user to move material from the server to the archive either manually or under the control of a video application. The software then tracks all of the video assets by a user or application assigned file name for easier management and retrieval.
Media Archive is a modular, open and scalable software platform, allowing for the integration of third party software components. It provides a comprehensive media asset management (MAM) framework to support new digital content services, optimize workflows and increase efficiencies along the content value chain.
